What we collect
We collect the contact details, practice information and email preferences you submit. If you make a referral, we collect your email and the business contact details and context you share about the dentist or practice. Each submitted step is saved, even if you do not finish the form or confirm your email. Please do not submit patient information.
We also process technical information, such as IP addresses, to operate and protect the website. Temporary browser storage helps you continue your inquiry and prevents repeated signup prompts. Playing a video connects to a video service.
To understand which parts of DrWano.com help visitors, we record page views, video starts and ends, and video download clicks using a temporary random browser session ID. When you start an inquiry, that session and a broad source category (such as social, email or a partner link) can be linked to the saved inquiry. We do not record raw browsing URLs or referrer text for this measurement. These observations are retained for 90 days. A daily rotating hash of the network address limits abuse and is removed after two days. Browser sessions expire after four hours. We skip this measurement when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.
How we use and share it
We use your information to respond to your inquiry, follow up on referrals, provide requested support and protect against misuse. Authorized team members and service providers process information as needed for these purposes and to operate the website.
Industry Best Practices emails are optional. You can unsubscribe or email us to withdraw your preference. This does not cancel an inquiry you asked us to answer.
How long we keep it
We review incomplete or unsuccessful inquiries and referrals monthly and delete them after 12 months without further interaction, unless a legal obligation requires longer retention. Client retention arrangements are explained separately.
Your choices
Email us to request access to, correction of or deletion of your information. We may need to verify your identity. Changes to this policy will appear here with an updated effective date.
