Who owns each task in my practice?

Dr. Wano · Recorded October 15, 2026. This transcript follows the edited video captions.

Yeah, I think when everyone in the practice owns something, nobody really owns it. And so when you have multiple people ordering things, or managing the schedule, then nobody really owns it. No one's accountable for it, and that system is going to kind of fall apart.

So every job in the practice needs to have one name specifically next to it. So you need to list every job. List every job that there would be or could be within that specific practice.

The inventory, the recall list, the schedule template, insurance follow-ups. Making that an exhaustive list. And then give each one of them a specific owner within the practice.

And then there's always a backup for each one of those things, an assigned backup for each one of those things, right?
